Etc.

Remember how the book of Psalms has five divisions, and they match up in amazing ways with the five books of the Pentateuch (Torah) and the five Megilloth books. This week I heard an interesting observation that the fourth division of Psalms (Psalms 90-106) relates to the Millennium and the fifth (Psalms 107-150) to after the Millennium (Revelation 20-22). After you learn the foundational truth that God inspired His Bible to be a puzzle that we have to put together “here a little, there a little” (Isaiah 28:13), over time you will learn more amazing ways that God has structured it which could not have been planned out by 40 different men writing over about 1,500 years of time.

Famine of the Word

It’s coming because God prophesies it in Amos 8:11. With each passing day we are seeing more religious and conservative information being cancelled and suppressed by the mainstream media and social tech.

But just maybe there will be another angle that I hadn’t thought of: A famine can be because there is no food available, but the same result of starvation occurs if the people refuse or just don’t bother to eat what is available.

A minister I know who is broadcasting sermons via Facebook streaming, commented that he quit writing a blog because it felt too impersonal. He didn’t know who was reading it or benefiting by it. On Facebook streaming, he can see names of those connected and even comments they “chat.”

I get that. It frustrates me that I know only a handful of you subscribers. I seldom get any comments except from one of my daughters who sends back a thoughtful, appreciative one every time. My email (robertcurry6@hotmail.com) is always receptive.

Isaiah 55:11 it!

So I rely on God, who knows what you need, to inspire me to supply it. I rely on him to “Isaiah 55:11 it” when I hit the “publish” button.

A personal request to ucgcamps: I really appreciate it that you like every post. I’m sure I probably know you. Would you be so kind to email me at robertcurry6@hotmail.com and tell me who you are! The irony is that I created that website to write up some UCG summer camps and no longer know how to get back in it. And I can’t help wondering how you are able to use it to comment! I sure would love to hear from you and share a laugh about that!

We just finished the Seven Days of Unleavened Bread, so that means it’s

Time to plan for the Feast of Tabernacles in September!

T&O eBook Ad

My wife and I have chosen Steamboat Springs in Colorado, and tomorrow we will request our housing at the magnificent Steamboat Grand Hotel for the eight glorious days. God’s people can keep His command to attend His Feast because we also keep His command to save a second tithe.

If there’s anything you are going to regularly read in this blog, it’s about keeping God’s amazing Holy Days. I keep pointing out that we must get ready and not just think we can wait for the last minute. Do I hear Luke 21:36?

But actually our immediate target is the next Holy Day—Pentecost on May 16.

Keeping Pentecost is the best chance for most because even false churches and ministers sometimes hold a Pentecost service since it is on a Sunday. Churches of God like to joke: What are we doing here on a Sunday?!” Pentecost has meaning that most have no clue about. That’s because it shows that most are not called now! So how could they have a clue!

God is not calling the world as a whole today. In 2020 there were supposedly 2.4 billion Christians in the world—the most of any religion. But you’ll read here how God has called only a few down throughout the 6,000 years of human history. His flock is little (Luke 12:32) and only a “few” find His narrow, difficult gate at this time (Matthew 7:14). I hope that’s you!

Well, Pentecost is one of God’s commanded Holy Days. So is the Feast of Tabernacles, and you will need to be saving second tithe to be able to keep it in September. Don’t miss out on downloading the FREE eBook above! I absolutely promise you, just as God does, you cannot outgive God, and the second tithe is giving to yourself. When people wonder how I and my family have traveled all around the United States and the popular places of the world, that’s how!

Are You Getting Anything Out of This Blog?

Some of you write amazing blogs that I like to read.   One common characteristic is an interesting writing pizazz that I hope rubs off on me.   Next to sharing God’s way, I want most not to bore people.  You’d think God’s way couldn’t be boring, but with some people all things are possible!

Caralyn’s “BeautyBeyondBones” has flair down pat.  What a way with words!  She shares hip lingo and culture that this old man has no clue about!  Having a common name spelled uniquely is a tip off that you’re going to get that from her blog!  Her battle and victory over anorexia is certainly not my problem, as I am the fattest I have ever been, but as she puts it so well, “we’re all recovering from something.”  She has good motivational principles to apply, but I also get the bonus of getting her take on life as a millennial in hopes of dealing with my four.  It’s no wonder she has 45,000 subscribers and is dinging the counter!

BJ’s “RiverWalk” enlightens me on the Bible which is, of course, what old Broose the Moose aims to do for others.  He regularly takes the day’s Bible passage from reading the Bible in a  year and brings it to life with some interesting background information or exciting personal experience.  And I’ve got to admire a man sacrificing his life in service over in Turkey.  It’s no wonder he has 26,000 subscribers.

When I ask myself, “Are you getting anything out of these two blogs?”, my answer is a resounding “yes!” and I eagerly wait for their next post.

Leading Us to Our Glorious Destiny adAfter writing for five years and offering 350 posts and 9 eBooks

sometimes I wonder if I’m doing any good and if anybody is getting anything out of this blog?  WordPress stats don’t give that.

I would so appreciate a comment from you

Especially if there is some subject you’d like me to write about.   It seems like I’ve written about everything there is and am now repeating myself like an old befuddled man!

I sincerely hope that you “little flock” (Luke 12:32) following this blog are being called NOW by God and being led to His incredible destiny for you.
